Rebecca suffered when her parents died, but with the
strength of her close-knit Texas family behind her, she came through it and now
helps run the Bonifay ranch and her own horse rescue operation. Jesse is a drifter through and through.
Orphaned at a young age he knows better than to put down roots in any one place
for long. When Jesse gets hurt and Rebecca’s brother takes his spot Jesse can
only go back to the Bonifay Ranch to heal.
What he never expects is to want more in life then he has.
Rebecca wants Jesse in every way but Jesse doesn’t want
roots. But there’s no denying the headstrong beauty or the raging passion
building between them, and as they discover a stronger connection between each
other they have to face reality.
I really did enjoy this book. I felt the emotions and was right with Becca
and Jesse as they decided what they wanted in life. If you want a book full of feeling then this
is for you, just be sure to have the tissues handy.
