I love that Lorelei James gives us charterers that feel like your best friend. They are always so real!  She did it again with Hang Tough! I Loved it!

Devil's Mark (The Devil's Keepers, #2) By Megan Crane

I really enjoyed this book. I had a hard time putting this book down. This is the first book from Megan Crane that I have read but I can’t wait to read more. The steam in this book is hot! I also loved the lifetime decisions that need to be made in the book.

 

Holly Chambless is the most popular girl in town and everyone loves her. She is also the mayor’s daughter. Holly finds out her Dad is corrupt and her whole life has been a lie she decides to change where her life was headed. So, she goes to the one place she should never go. She goes and get a job in a bar where the “Bad girls” work. It is owned by a Biker club. She wants to taste what she has secretly wanted.

Killian “Uptown” Chenier is one of the most wanted bikers. He is also an enforcer for the club. He knows Holly and he remembers sending her running away one summer when she was young. Now she’s all grown up and hotter than she should be allowed. He wants her body to personally desecrate. Her dad stole from the club which makes her a target. But Devil’s Keepers have a hard life and she is so soft. He also has a long standing personal grudge with her daddy. Now is the perfect time to take back want he wants and hurt her daddy.

 

As these two life’s start to mix it is hotter than a summer day in the south when they are together. Can they survive each other?

Darynda Jones did it again! This series is awesome and this book is right there with the rest. (note: If you have not read the other books in the series I would start at the beginning so you have the entire back story.)

When you are a part time PI and the grim reaper life is never what Charley dull.  Now Charley has learned one other thing about herself, she’s a God.

Now her newest adventure is that she needs capture 3 other Gods that were sent to kill her daughter. To save her daughter Charley has others watching her and does not know the location for her safety.  If the other Gods win the world will be destroyed. If she can then the world is safe and she can have her whole family together again. However, there is just one little problem. Her love is one of the other Gods and she is not sure if he knows or not.  If he doesn’t know she doesn’t want to be the one to tell him.

Charley also has her PI job that is to find the killer of a girl.  The man the police have for it didn’t kill her, so who did.  There is a lot of guilt in the way to find this woman.

Charley also found a runaway that says she is sick.  Charley wants to help her and finds out the girl is not sick.  So she wants to find why other kids at the home she ran from died and why she was sick.

So Charley needs to find a killer, clear a man’s name, help heal a girl, find out who or what is killing children at the home of kids, and stop a God from killing her daughter. That all should be easily done, Right?

Hot Cowboy Nights (Lucky Penny Ranch #2) by Carolyn Brown

Carolyn Brown has done it again! She has more hot Cowboys for us!

I loved it! The way the story comes across so real just makes me smile.  I had a very hard time putting this book down because I needed to know what was next.

The small town of Dry Creek Texas in is just like all small towns, it lives for gossip.  Lizzy Logan is the town’s most recent topic.  Her fiancé leaves her on Valentine’s day over the phone for another woman. Now she is trying to move on and out of the town talk.  The town women think they can give her advice for the future and she needs help to get them to leave her alone. The town is going to have a celebration weekend and Lizzy’s Ex is coming back to town for it. The women in town make sure she knows about her Ex. Lizzy wants to show everyone she is over her Ex and moving on. So one of her new neighbors Tony Dawson the brother of the man that married Lizzy’s sister comes up with the idea to be a Pretend Boyfriend for Lizzy. Just for a few weeks. Tony is not looking to settle down and wants to help her out as time with Lizzy can’t be that bad. The first time they go out they run into her Ex’s mother.  Now they are all the town is talking about. The more time Tony spends with Lizzy the more he is changing his mind about settling down. Tony is worried that when Lizzy sees her Ex she will want that life back and leave him. The women around town don’t want Lizzy with such a bad boy and try to come between what they have.  Do Lizzy and Tony have something that will last or is it just fun for a few weeks?

Texas Lullaby (Texas Montgomery Mavericks #7) by Cynthia D'Alba

Cynthia did it again!  I Love this book too! I am sad to see this series end as this is the last book in it.

Lydia Henson and Jason Montgomery have the future all planned out until life changes everything. Lydia and Jason are about to finally get married! They have been engaged for 4 years. They have agreed to not have children and just love each other.  When tragedy hits on the eve of the wedding.  Lydia’s sister and brother in law leave their children to Lydia.  All plans for the future have changed.

Texas Hustle (Texas Montgomery Mavericks #6) by Cynthia D'Alba

Cynthia did it again!  I Love her books and this one is just as great! I loved the action and growing romance in this story!  I wanted to jump in and help her out!

Porchia Summers was born into a family who gave her everything except affection. She tried to get her parents attention by acting out.  Her parents sent her to Whispering Springs when she was still in school to hide that she had an arrest record. When Prochia finished school she stayed in Whispering Springs but was always looking over her shoulder. Then her old boyfriend who got her in trouble tracks her down. She wants to keep her past and present separate.  She needs time to come up with a plan so she places a bid at a bachelor auction. He is the one man who’ll get her out of town for a few days and help give her time.

Darren Montgomery is thrilled when Porchia wins him and a week of camping in a charity bachelor auction. He’s been flirting with her for years. She has never let it go any further than that. Darren’s not complaining, but he wonders what has changed and what is going on in Porchia’s pretty head.

Cynthia has done it again!  I loved this book!
