Cynthia did it again!  I Love her books and this one is just as great! I loved the action and growing romance in this story!  I wanted to jump in and help her out!

Porchia Summers was born into a family who gave her everything except affection. She tried to get her parents attention by acting out.  Her parents sent her to Whispering Springs when she was still in school to hide that she had an arrest record. When Prochia finished school she stayed in Whispering Springs but was always looking over her shoulder. Then her old boyfriend who got her in trouble tracks her down. She wants to keep her past and present separate.  She needs time to come up with a plan so she places a bid at a bachelor auction. He is the one man who’ll get her out of town for a few days and help give her time.

Darren Montgomery is thrilled when Porchia wins him and a week of camping in a charity bachelor auction. He’s been flirting with her for years. She has never let it go any further than that. Darren’s not complaining, but he wonders what has changed and what is going on in Porchia’s pretty head.

They are going camping but even then Porchia can’t out run her past and doesn’t want anyone to know what is going on.  Darren is trying to win Porchia’s heart and does not get her hot and cold responses to him.  More problems arise for Porchia as time goes on.  Can Porchia lean on Darren?  Can Darren win Porchia’s heart?

Cynthia has done it again!  I loved this book!
Magda Hobbs’s is a woman that has never had roots.  She gets a call that her Dad is in the hospital she runs to him.  She is still getting to know her Dad, and does not want to impose.  She is offered a job as ranch housekeeper. This way she can stay close.

Reno Montgomery’s and his brother are starting a ranch and there is lots of hard work to do.  They are very messy and put all their attention into running the outside. Reno is trying to mend his heart and no one even knows that he fell in love. When their parents hire a housekeeper for them thinking it will help.  Reno didn’t know what kind of surprise waited for him. Magda was that surprise.
When a freak snowstorm strands the Magda and Reno alone, the isolation rekindles their desire. When the snow starts to melt Magda is ready to run.  Reno has to work hard and fast to keep her from running again.  He knows he doesn’t want to leave without her.
Magda wants Reno more than anything else, but she does not want to end up like her mother. She is ready to run when Reno starts to hold on tight. Can he keep her or will she run?

Carolyn Brown did it again!  We are again in Texas but this time in the middle of a feud between two families.  The Gallaghers and the Brennans are feuding and want the land between their ranches. That land The Fiddle Creek Ranch belongs to The Cleary women.  Jill is the niece that has come to work the ranch with her Aunt Gladys on the Ranch.  Aunt Gladys has hired Sawyer to help as the foreman of the ranch.  

When Jill and Sawyer meet the fireworks go off, but before they can even take in what is going on both of them have dates with The Gallaghers and the Brennans.  The Gallaghers and the Brennans want Sawyer so the Fiddle Creek Ranch may sell to them soon and they want Jill so they can have the land trough marriage. Problem is that Jill and Sawyer don’t want any of them and agree to have each other’s backs.

The more time Jill and Sawyer spend together the more the fireworks fly.  Can Jill keep the The Gallaghers and the Brennans men away from her?  Can Sawyer keep the The Gallaghers and the Brennans women away from him? Sawyer also wants to keep The Gallaghers and the Brennans men away from Jill.  Can Sawyer win Jill’s heart?

Carolyn Brown has done it again!  I love her Cowboy books!  In this book Abby Malloy father passes away.  She never knew him or the fact that she has 2 sisters.  In his (Ezra) will he wants his daughters lo live on his ranch and if after a year they are still there they get part of the ranch.  If they leave then they just get money. 

Abby has been on her own for a while now and is fresh out of the Army and looking for a fresh start.  She is determined to make it the year.  After meeting her half-sisters she starts to feel protective of them.  As the sisters learn to ranch from the help of the Forman Rusty and the neighbor and local sheriff Cooper they are growing together.  Abby also was not expecting to have feelings for Cooper.

Cooper meets his late neighbor’s daughters and the oldest one Abby has caught his eye.  He is will to help teach them to ranch but his roots are here in the Palo Duro Canyon.  As time goes by can he convenes Abby to clip her wings and set up roots here with him?

Full Throttle (BKI 7) by Julie Ann Walker

Julie Ann Walker has done it again!  Action, Love, Hurt, Need, Want, Life.  This book has it all.  I love this group of men and how they have to learn to live.

Abby Thompson is the daughter of the President of the United States. She would prefer a quiet life. Unfortunately her dad has some enemies and they want her for their plan.

Carlos “Steady” Soto has taken part in his fair share of dangerous missions.  He is part of a group of men in a covert government defense firm.  They call themselves the Black Knights Inc.

He is not prepared for what lays ahead.  He’s tasked with rescuing the only woman he ever loved and also broke his heart. Racing for freedom with Abby at his side he has to out move and out think the terrorists. He also tries to keep the heat simmering between on low.

With a past that has hurt in it can they learn to trust each other again, or will this be the end?

Have you ever just gone with the flow?  Thought I just want this right now.  Well Both Harrison and Ryan did just that.  She was the bartender there to listen to his sorrows.  He just wanted to leave his life behind for one night, and they did just that.

 

Harrison Montgomery was born to lead.  He is from the line of Montgomery men that have served the state of Georgia and now he’s next in line. Harrison is running for congress and trying to get away from the political mess left by his father’s greed and corruption. That means he needs good press.

Harrison thinks damage control is needed.  The night that Harrison and Ryan Kaminski shared is coming back to him.  Harrison is not sure what to think.  He is mad and Ryan is his target. Ryan can’t believe that the cold, calculating political animal is the stranger who’d given her the most unforgettable night of her life. She wants nothing from Harrison. But Ryan is broke, jobless. Harrison makes a deal with Ryan for two years; she will have to act the role of caring, supportive wife.

 

I loved the learning about one’s self in this book.  They learn so much from each other about what they want.  I will be looking for more from this series.

Texas Twist (Texas Montgomery Mavericks #4) Sept 2, 2014

After Paige Ryan parents die she moves to Whispering Springs, Texas.  She is looking to the future and what she will do.  Her step-brother owns a bar and she helps out there but she wants to have a career in the medical world. A friend says she can stay at her empty house until school starts.

Cash Montgomery thought we was on top of the world.  He has it all. Until a bad bull leaves him injured, angry and searching for comfort at the bottom of a bottle. He is back in Whispering Springs, Texas near his family. His brother tells him he can move into his sister-in-law's old ranch house while getting back on his feet.  He is surprised to find it already occupied by Paige.

Paige and Cash have a history that no one knows about.  They start to rebuild their old friendship but sparks are ignited. Paige knows that Cash is going to break her heart again. Cash is not sure what he wants yet.  Can they work together and build a future or will they go on their own paths?

I loved this book!  The emotions tugged at my heart. I could not put this book down.  There were times I just wanted to ring both of their necks!  I yelled and cried with both Paige and Cash, Cynthia did not disappoint.  I look forward to next book!
